Pediatric Dental Surgery Sedation

Getting nervous about the child to the dentist surgery?
My son is scheduled for dental surgery in May, which is 3 years. It has some problems really bad teeth and was seen by the pediatric dentist. Basically you need severl filled cavities and made a crown. They have given both the option for either a light sedation (laughing gas) and 2 visits will be organized for all the work. Alternatively, you might get to do everything at once by the hospital, he would be out to do with the anesthesia. We decided the procedure of a sudden, just because it has so much to do dental work and we do not want to be afraid of needles and frozen mouth later. As the date for surgery I'm getting more nervous. I wonder if we only have to do with laughing gas. There was some sedation due to cut in his eyes that hadto be sewn, but it was and was out like 10 minutes. This surgery, he would be around 1-1.5 hours, which is considerable.
laughing gas is not going to cut I think. The dentist is my son, liquid and gas sedation of small laugh however, put up a struggle and shouting. Good luck to you and his son.
